States of Matter

This week, Room 11 have been looking at the 3 main states of matter. We are learning about it so that when we conduct our experiments, we are able to explain the processes and chemical reactions that occur. It's been great new learning for most of us.

Today, we worked in groups to identify the properties of the 3 states of matter of SOLIDS, LIQUIDS AND GAS. The properties refer to the SHAPE, VOLUME, ARRANGEMENTS and INTERACTION of particles in matter.

Here are some photos of our learning.

Hi Room 11,

Wow! That looks like lots of learning! What was the most trickiest part of your learning? Room 9 will be doing some learning about this next term - do you have any tips for us?
