Day 1, Term 3!

Where has the year gone?

We're back for Term 3 and ready for some new learning. Every morning before the school bell rings, we come into class and complete our Quick Write that Mirs Tupou-Fonua writes up on the board. Here are the early birds enjoying a good talanoa with each other and working on our quick write piece of writing.

The Nile River

In addition to the Pyramids and the Mummies, we have started looking at the Nile River. We've been reading about the advantages of the Nile and how this natural resource provided so much for the Ancient Egyptian Civilisation.

It provided many sources of food, transportation, agriculture and enabled possibilities of trade to occur.
