Dawn Raid Writing

Room 11 were motivated to write some awesome poems based on the Dawn Raids after watching a video.

We looked at Migration as part of our Inquiry focus and somehow, our class took an interest in the Dawn Raids the Polynesians experiences in the 70's.

Turbo Touch!

This morning Room 11 had their third session of Turbo Touch! The had got split into two teams of five. Norelle (the coach) would blow the whistle and four people from the attack side had to try goal and three people from the defend side had to defend the attackers. Room 11 enjoyed their third session of turbo touch, we can't wait for next week!

Getting better in MATHS

Today we had Ms Pine come in and team teach with Miss Tupou for Maths. We were given a fraction problem to solve in groups. Good feedback for both Miss Tupou and Room 11 from Ms Pine.

Family Fun Day!

Last Saturday Glen Taylor School had their own Family Fun Day. Glen Taylor had family fun day so, that students parents could meet there teachers and get to know each other. Also it would be good for the students parents so, that they can see what their Childs learning in class. There was also sausage sizzles and the pool was open so, that everyone could go have a refreshing and cool swim. Here is some photo's of the family fun day.

Technology 2018 has started

Well, as most of you know - every Wednesday the Year 7 & 8 students walk down to Tamaki College for Technology. We have Food tech, Graphics and Metal Work.

First week for our newbies (Year 7's) but they settled right in. Successful first day for our Seniors.
